What is a Brow Lift?
A brow lift reverses the impact of aging and gravity by tightening the skin on your forehead. This provides a more youthful look. A sagging brow can detract from your facial expressions and overall appearance. This is the reason brow lift surgery is successfully performed thousands of times each year.
When to Consider a Brow Lift
The most common reasons for having this procedure done include:
- A low or sagging eyebrow position causing a grumpy, sad or tired appearance
- Furrows or frown lines across the nose or between the eyebrows
- Deep horizontal creases on the forehead
- Excess fatty tissue or skin
A brow lift will raise your eyebrows to provide a more youthful and alert position. The correct positioning of a sagging brow will provide a more approachable, friendlier and happier appearance. The procedure eliminates the sad or angry expression resulting from sags at the outside of the brow. Frown lines located between the eyes can be eliminated and drooping tissues can be lifted to enable the application of cosmetics and result in a much more pleasing position.
