If you are considering microdermabrasion to improve your skin, our Dermalinfusion treatment may be a better option. Springs Aesthetics offers Dermalinfusion for men and women in Colorado Springs, South Denver, Castle Rock, and other areas of Colorado.
What is Dermalinfusion?
Dermalinfusion is similar to HydraFacial® MD, yet it also provides powerful microdermabrasion to exfoliate the skin. In clinical studies, the Dermalinfusion volumized skin by 70 percent to improve radiance and glow. The three components of Dermalinfusion are:
1. Exfoliation with a diamond wand
2. Pneumatic suction to extract impurities from the pore
3. Serum infusion
Dermalinfusion is ideal for men and women who are not good candidates for our HydraFacial® MD treatment.
How Much Does Dermalinfusion Cost?
The average cost of our Dermalinfusion is $175 to $250. While relatively close in price, both treatments provide excellent benefits for your skin. After your consultation, should you decide to have one of our Dermalinfusion treatments, we will let you know how much your treatment will cost. Financing may be available through CareCredit® and Alphaeon®.
Am I a Candidate for Dermalinfusion?
Dermalinfusion silk peels are great for patients with:
- Uneven skin tone
- Dull complexion
- Fine lines
- Age spots
- Clogged and enlarged pores
- Blemishes and breakouts
If you have acne-prone skin, our aestheticians will determine if Dermalinfusion is your best option.
How is Dermalinfusion Performed?
The Dermalinfusion facial involves three stages of skin cleansing that occur simultaneously. The diamond head gently removes dead skin, oils, dirt and the outermost layer of skin, similar to microdermabrasion. At the same time, suction extracts any debris from inside the pores while nourishing serums are infused into the pores. The treatment is very relaxing and takes about 30 minutes.
What are The Benefits of Dermalinfusion?
Exfoliation of the dry, dead skin cells that result in a dull, sallow complexion
Infusion of professional serums, developed to address specific skin conditions
Detoxifying lymphatic drainage – a type of gentle massage intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues
Fuller, firmer skin by the volumizing effect SilkPeel has on all Dermalinfused skin
Increased circulation by stimulating blood flow to the surface of the skin
Stimulated Collagen production from oxygenation and cell renewal

What Pro-Infusion Solutions are Used in Dermalinfusion?
Your skin care provider will recommend a Pro-Infusion Solution, or combination of Solutions, for your specific skin condition(s). All Pro-Infusion Solutions were developed specifically for use with SilkPeel Dermalinfusion.
Lumixyl® Pro-Infusion Solution features the revolutionary Lumixyl peptide, which is non-toxic and instantly brightens skin while significantly improving uneven pigmentation, sun damage, hyperpigmentation and melasma.
ClarityMD® Pore Clarifying Pro-Infusion Solution delivers Salicylic Acid and a botanical complex containing Bakuchiol and Bisabolol to promote clear skin. This formula addresses the major causes of acne – bacterial infection, clogged pores, and excess oil production – while soothing redness and swelling and fighting post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
Skin Hydrating Pro-Infusion Solution uses Hyaluronic Acid to re-hydrate chronically dehydrated skin – moisturizes, plumps skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Vitamin C Skin Hydrating Pro-Infusion Solution helps corrects the effects of environmental damage by revitalizing dull, tired skin. Skin is brightened immediately and targeted ingredients help ward off long-term UV damage.
How Does Dermalinfusion Compare to Dermabrasion?
Because Dermalinfusion is a unique technology, SilkPeel is in a class by itself. Microdermabrasion simply exfoliates the dead skin cells and does not infuse treatment serums. SilkPeel compares favorably to other available systems – which we call “wet microdermabrasion” – that provide exfoliation and attempt delivery of serums, but lack the close-looped vacuum system that makes SilkPeel Dermalinfusion so effective.
Without Dermalinfusion technology, serums merely sit on top of the skin – they are not delivered to the base of the pore where they can help treat the condition being addressed.
SilkPeel is fully customizable with hand pieces, treatment tips, vacuum and flow adjustors, and serums specifically designed to address skin concerns and conditions; no other system offers this degree of customization.
What is Recovery Like After Dermalinfusion?
A Dermalinfusion facial does not require any downtime. Patients with lighter complexion may find that their skin is slightly pink after the treatment. Your skin may feel sensitive, especially to sun exposure. The skin returns to a normal color within 12 to 24 hours.
How Long Will Dermalinfusion Results Last?
We recommend that our patients integrate Dermalinfusion into their normal skin care regimen and have the treatment every month. This will help to remove any impurities from the pores that is missed by your at-home skin care.
