Springs Aesthetics offers PRP facelifts for men and women in Colorado Springs, South Denver, Castle Rock, and other areas of Colorado. The PRP facelift is a minimally invasive treatment for patients who do not have advanced wrinkles and sagging that require surgery.
What is PRP Facelift?
A PRP facelift uses the benefits of growths factors in platelet-rich plasma to increase collagen and elastin in your skin. The process reduces wrinkles by restoring the underlying structure of collagen and boosting elastin so that your skin is more resilient to wrinkle formation and sagging. The PRP facelift is performed at our office and requires no anesthesia.
How Much Does the PRP Facelift Cost?
The average cost of a PRP facelift at Springs Aesthetics can vary. As part of your consultation, Dr. Burroughs and our aestheticians define a plan for your services, and we can then provide a specific cost for your procedure. If you are interested in financing the cost of your PRP facelift and other medical spa services, we accept CareCredit® and Alphaeon®. You can apply before the consultation.
Am I a Candidate for a PRP Facelift?
The best way to find out if the PRP facelift is a good option for your anti-aging needs is to schedule a consultation with Dr. Burroughs. Some indications that the PRP facelift might work for you are:
- “Crepe paper” appearance
- Wrinkles caused by reduced collagen levels
- Sagging that is indicative of poor elasticity
- Superficial flaws, such as acne scars and age spots
How is the PRP Facelift Performed?
We draw a small vial of your blood from a vein and process it in a centrifuge. The machine spins the blood to separate the components. One layer is the platelet-rich plasma that is used for the PRP facelift. We draw the PRP into a syringe that has a thin needle. The PRP is then injected into problem areas of your face. The plasma begins to work by stimulating new cell development. Over time, you will see a gradual improvement in your complexion.
What is Recovery Like After a PRP Facelift?
The PRP facelift does not require any downtime. If you have the treatment in conjunction with other services, you may have some aftercare. We can provide instructions on downtime and recovery during the consultation.
How Long Will PRP Facelift Results Last?
Your skin will continue to age and break down collagen and elastin after your PRP facelift, so it will not stop the aging process. Rather, the treatment is intended to rejuvenate aged skin so that you look younger for a longer period. Each patient ages at a different rate based on lifestyle, genetics, and other factors. Dr. Burroughs may be able to provide details about how long the results will last based on his expertise and experience with PRP facelifts.
