62 year old male frustrated with persistent ptosis (drooping of the upper eyelid margins) despite multiple surgeries performed in New York. Sought consultation with me and underwent a successful ptosis revision surgery of both upper eyelids by external approach. Old scar tissue, sutures were removed, and his tendon was tightened to provide the lid height correction he wished for and with a pleasing contour. He is thrilled with the improvements and others comment on being able to now see his blue eyes and he can see better too. Ptosis surgery can be challenging even for experienced surgeons especially on revision cases. I’m grateful he followed our pre and postoperative instructions and has healed with an excellent result.
