Eliminating extra fat that is resistant to diet and exercise does not always require extensive surgery. Springs Aesthetics offers non-surgical body contouring for men and women in Colorado Springs, South Denver, Castle Rock, Pueblo, and other areas of Colorado.
What is Non-Surgical Body Contouring?
Non-surgical body contouring at Springs Aesthetics includes treatments that reduce excess fat through minimally invasive techniques. Plastic surgery for excess fat, such as a tummy tuck, requires large incisions to remove the skin and fat layer. Patients who undergo these procedures have lengthy recovery periods, as well as obvious scarring. Non-surgical body contouring uses advanced energy sources to reduce fat cells and tighten the skin.
How Much Does Non-Surgical Body Contouring Cost?
- BodyTite™
- BodyTite™ is a minimally invasive radiofrequency technology that uses gentle thermal effects to reduce the size of fat cells and thicken the skin for a toned, tight appearance.
- BodyFX®
- BodyFX® is one of the only non-invasive body contouring treatments that reduces fat and cellulite.
- MiniFX®
- MiniFX® is a non-invasive treatment that uses the same technology as BodyFX® and is recommended for smaller areas of the body such as the neck or “bra-fat” areas.
- Forma and Forma Plus
The average cost of our non-surgical body shaping treatments can vary based on treatment area and how many areas are being treated. We can provide a more specific cost at your consultation. We have several payment options, including financing through Alphaeon® and CareCredit®.

How is Non-Surgical Body Contouring Performed?
Our non-surgical body contouring procedures such as BodyTite, require small incisions that tend to heal without sutures or require a few sutures. The treatments are performed by Dr. Burroughs in the office operating room, and do not require general anesthesia. Local anesthesia with tumescent local anesthetic is used to numb the area to improve comfort during the treatment. Oral sedation may be also provided, and some patients opt for Pro-Nox (nitrous oxide, laughing gas). BodyFX and MiniFX are non-invasive treatments performed by our aestheticians in our medical spa and do not require any anesthesia or numbing. Pro-nox can also be provided for those patients that wish for additional comfort in rare circumstances.
What is Recovery Like After Non-Surgical Body Contouring?
Little to no downtime is needed after our non-surgical body contouring procedures. We may recommend that you rest at home for one to three days, but you can partake of your normal activities in most cases.
How Long Will the Results of Non-Surgical Body Contouring Last?
You should continue to live a healthy lifestyle that includes good nutrition and exercise to prevent fat from developing in the treatment area. Non-surgical body contouring stimulates collagen production to enhance skin tightening results, and your body will continue to break down the collagen. In many cases, our patients enjoy the benefits of their non-surgical body contouring for one year or longer, and maintenance treatments with externally applied radiofrequency (Forma) will extend and enhance results.
