Dr. Burroughs deeply cares for his patients and aims to provide the most competent, ethical, and compassionate care possible. His “word of mouth” practice quickly grew because of his genuine concern to help patients and his surgical and clinical expertise. He philanthropically supports numerous outreach and help ministries in Colorado Springs and abroad. He is a proud partner of Springs Rescue Mission and International Health Ministries. His personal mission is to strive daily to serve his patients as if he is serving the Lord (Col. 3:23-24). Melissa Burroughs

Melissa Burroughs hails from a small town in West Texas. As a teenager, she began modeling and entered and won a local beauty pageant. Hard work enabled her to graduate high school a year early. She then worked in the radio and television industry before deciding to go into the medical/dental field, where she was an advanced dental technician.
Melissa later pursued Business Administration and managed multiple medical practices before re-entering the nursing field upon her introduction to aesthetic medicine in 2017. She received intensive training in injectable neuromodulators, dermal fillers, volumizers, platelet-rich plasma, and threads. She has been in the aesthetic medicine field full-time since 2019, has won multiple Merz Aesthetics Recognitions, and is one of Colorado’s most experienced Silhouette InstaLift Thread providers.

I have been working alongside Dr. Burroughs for nearly five years, gaining valuable experience across multiple areas of the practice. I began as a Front Desk Ambassador, where I developed a strong foundation in patient care and office operations. I later transitioned into a Clinical Assistant role, working directly with Dr. Burroughs to support patient treatments and clinical workflow. Today, I serve as the Practice Administrator, where I oversee daily operations and help ensure our team provides an exceptional patient experience.

Hi, I’m Issa, the esthetician at Springs Aesthetics. I’ve been a licensed esthetician for 14 years and became a certified laser specialist in 2022. I’m passionate about results-driven skincare and love helping clients feel confident and comfortable in their own skin. I specialize in treatments like microneedling, hydrafacials, and IPL photofacials, which are some of my favorites because they leave skin looking refreshed, healthy, and glowing. I enjoy creating personalized treatment plans and partnering with each client to help them achieve their skincare goals.

With over a decade of experience in the plastic surgery field since 2010, Ivy brings extensive knowledge and patient centered approach to aesthetic care. Over the past five years, she has specialized in advanced laser treatments, helping patients improve skin health, restore confidence, and achieve natural- looking results. Ivy is passionate about guiding patients through their aesthetics journey and believes that every treatment should be tailored to enhance each individual’s unique features. She takes great pride in creating a comfortable, supportive environment where patients feel confident and cared for throughout their transformation.

Although I’m only 21, I have several years of experience in the medical field, which has helped me develop strong patient care and communication skills.
