This patient wished to have her cheeks raised upward and her nasolabial folds improved. She had thread-lifting done to improve these areas. This is a minimally invasive procedure done in the office with special sutures under the skin to lift and pull in specific vectors to help with jowling, midface descent/drooping, and neck sagging, plus it can dramatically improve the nasolabial folds (“parentheses around the mouth”).
The procedure takes approximately 30-45 minutes to perform. There is no downtime, and the results can last for up to two years. This patient had the Silhouette Instalift that has tiny cones along the threads to help maintain the results and pull vectors as desired. Thread lifts can be done alone or as an adjunct with fillers, neuromodulator wrinkle blockers, skin resurfacing, PRP, and surgery to obtain the best results.
