Dr. John Burroughs, Colorado Springs Oculofacial Plastic Surgeon, discovered Facetite and Necktite and began offering these services last year. Dr. Burroughs is referred a large number of patients for facial rejuvenation and one his most popular procedures is the mini-incision facelift. Part of its popularity is that there only a few days of downtime, and the results are fantastic. It is still surgery where incisions are made and suturing is required, so it doesn’t always fit into everyone’s schedule. It mostly addresses the jowls, but can help lift sagging neck tissue, but doesn’t address neck fat or extreme central neck laxity and sagging.
NeckTite, like FaceTite is performed through small injection holes through which bipolar radiofrequency is delivered under the skin and provides tightening up to 40%. NeckTite and FaceTite are done under local anesthesia sometimes accompanied with oral sedation. Dr. Burroughs has seen results with this procedure approximating 50-60% of his surgical facelift results. These non-surgical approaches are often done alone or with a surgical face or necklift when more substantial lifting is required. Radiofrequency heat can be applied to liquefy unwanted fat in targeted areas of the face and neck such as the jowls. Aspiration liposuction can also be done simultaneously and FaceTite/NeckTite offers the advantage of skin tightening. Some patients also benefit from non-ablative skin resurfacing with fractora. Fractora helps further tighten the skin superficially and improves both wrinkles and texture concerns.
This patient is a busy professional, and wished to have her lower face rejuvenated and did not like her fatty neck. She underwent a surgical lower mini-incision facelift done through small incisions in front of her ears, and also underwent NeckTite to tighten her neck skin and remove unwanted fat using the Radiofrequency heat and aspiration.
She was very pleased with her post procedure results, and that she had a jawline back and loved her new neck.
If you want a face or necklift with or without surgery then call us for a consultation. Sometimes surgery still remains the best answer, but facetite and necktite offer an exciting solution that works and can delay the need to have surgery or provide enhanced results with it.
