Dr. John Burroughs is an oculoplastic surgeon serving Colorado Springs and the southern Colorado region. Recently, his dad was at an auto dealership getting some car repairs done. While there, the attendant noticed his name and asked if he was related to Dr. Burroughs. This attendant had suffered an orbital fracture a few years back that limited her eye movement and resulted in an orbital deformity. She underwent an orbital fracture repair and has done very well since that time, and her double vision has resolved. She reported her gratefulness to Dr. Burroughs’ dad, and he reported the following:
“Today, I was down at Daniels Long Chevrolet (Hummer still has starter issues), and one of the service reps saw my name on the shuttle sign-up list. She asked me if I was related to any surgeons in town, which I affirmed. Her name was (deleted), and she saw you several years ago after she took a pretty bad fall. Susan just couldn’t say enough good things about you, and many of the other service reps were listening. She is a very, very happy camper, and she asked me to relay her satisfaction. She even came over with hot coffee and pastry for me, after we had talked. – Dad”
