Our chemical peels vary in strength to ensure that we are targeting the client’s concern, but also adhering to their lifestyle. Our SkinCeuticals Medi-Spa Chemical peels are created to improve fine lines, discoloration, dullness, laxity, and diminish acne. There are two categories in which we classify our peels which include, our AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acids), and our BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acids).
AHA Chemical peels are unbuffered acids at a low PH to exfoliate skin, refine pores, and accelerate skin cell renewal. These peels are ideal for dry, combination, and sensitive skin, and is safe on Fitzpatrick I-VI skin types. AHA chemical peels come in three strengths, mild to medium which include, Micro Sensitive, Micro peel 20, and Micro peel 30. Each of these AHA Chemical peels will help to improve fine lines, wrinkles, laxity, and skin imperfections, while having little to no downtime. Our Pigment Balancing Peel is also an AHA Chemical peel which is used to clarify photo damaged skin, reduce discoloration, and improve skin’s radiance. This peel is best for sun induced, hormonal and post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation, as well as lines, wrinkles, and laxity.
BHA Chemical peels help the skin’s renewal process, which helps to improve rough texture, blotchiness, uneven skin tone, and reduces acne. They penetrate deeper into the epidermis, and most will notice some epidermal shedding. BHA chemical peels are those who suffer from acne skin, moderate Post-Inflammatory Hyper-pigmentation, uneven skin texture, lack of radiance, and those with enlarged pores. We carry three different BHA peels which vary in strength. MicroPeel Plus 20, and MicroPeel Plus 30 for those who suffer from acneic skin, enlarged pores, and moderate post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation. The deepest superficial chemical peel we carry is our Advanced Corrective Peel, which helps to improve fine lines, wrinkles, deep discoloration, and uneven texture caused by photo damage, hormones, and inflammation.
There are different tools that can be used during your chemical peel treatment to either help promote epidermal shedding, or even cool the skin down for those who do not wish to have as much shedding. Again, our chemical peels are very customizable to address unique concerns and lifestyles of our clients. For our clients who wish to have less epidermal shedding, we would recommend a more superficial peel, and an application of our Biocellulose mask once the peel process has been completed. We offer dermaplanning before for our clients who wish to have a deeper exfoliation process. Our Retinol Booster is great for those who wish to have a lot of epidermal shedding. Again, most people do not have the same skin care concerns, or live the same lifestyle as the next, which is why we find it so important to offer such tools to ensure you have the best possible treatment
