Dr. John Burroughs is an oculofacial plastic surgeon practicing in Colorado Springs.  This patient was bothered by her eyebrow asymmetry in that her left brow was much lower than her right and that this caused some bunching of her upper eyelid skin especially at the outer aspect.  She also didn’t like her lower eyelid fatty bags.  She underwent in-office pre-hairline brow lift on the left side to improve the asymmetry, which she has been very pleased with following surgery.  She could have had wrinkle blocker to lower the right eyebrow to improve it further or instead of surgery, but she wished for a more long-lasting result.  She underwent a transconjunctival lower eyelid fat blepharoplasty and chemical peel of the lower eyelid skin, and has been very pleased with the look.  She has a smaller eyelid on the right side that is slightly droopy, which causes her to pull the right eyebrow more upward, but she was most concerned with the lower eyelids and eyebrow appearances and not her upper eyelids.  Down the line, she could have a right upper eyelid ptosis repair and this would help her to quit subconsciously pull with her right eyebrow.  This would also improve her eyelid symmetry further.  Nonetheless, she is very pleased with the surgical results, which achieved her goals.
